Most of ours are PVC, rubber, EVA foam or EPDM. PVC and rubber give the best grip and life. EVA foam is the softest and coolest. EPDM handles strong sun best. All four resist pool chemicals.
An under pool mat protects the pool base from stones and rough ground. It gives the liner a smooth, even foundation. For above ground pools we recommend one. It also helps the pool last longer.
Not if they drain properly. Mould needs trapped water to grow. Our mats have open backs and drainage holes, so water passes straight through. We also treat them to slow bacteria growth. Rinse them weekly and you will not see mould.
They stop water sitting on your deck. Standing water is what grows algae and causes smells. The mats also trap dirt from bare feet before it reaches the water. You can hose the whole area clean in minutes.

Far less hot than bare tile. Light colors stay coolest. EVA foam holds the least heat of all our materials. Dark rubber in full afternoon sun will get warm. Tell us where the sun hits and we will recommend a color.
Our UV treated mats hold their color for years. EPDM is the strongest for this. Cheap untreated mats fade in one summer. Our warranty covers fading under normal use.
Yes. Every material we supply is tested against pool chemicals. Chlorine, salt and normal cleaning products will not break them down. Just rinse with fresh water each week.
